It’s easy to take for granted nice comments people make about my musical activities but they are very welcome and always appreciated. Some of the most touching are those from residents of Care Homes where I play in the daytime – they say the nicest things and I hope I cheer up their day when I am there.
Then there are the emails and messages I get from either my solo gigs or with the Vic Cracknell Band – these are some recent ones:
“Vic, many thanks for playing at our birthday celebrations last Saturday. We were all entertained by your choice of music, playing and singing. I heard from many of our guests how much they enjoyed the music, and were especially pleased that it was played live.
Several people asked us where we ‘found’ you, so we pointed them to your website. I guess my greatest compliment, is that you fulfilled your brief exactly as I had hoped you would. Well Done.
Many thanks from Mark and Gil”
60th and 70th Birthday Party – Warbrook House, Eversley (solo gig – 22nd November 2014)
“Vic, it was pretty obvious everyone was enjoying the band and many commented on how good you all were. All in all great music, great performance. Certainly will let others know.”
President – The Haslemere & District Chamber of Trade & Commerce
Awards Dinner – Lythe Hill hotel (Vic Cracknell Band – 15th November 2014)
It’s nice to be appreciated.
